Fashion Has a New Story

The momentum is building behind eco-friendly, ethically made, and slow and sustainable fashion, but this movement needs a signature platform that shows the world what it truly looks like. Introducing Ethical Style Journal.

Our quarterly magazine celebrates and promotes ethical and sustainable fashion, to inspire readers to shop more consciously. Inside, it features inspiring women sharing powerful stories and showing off their style, editorial photography that shows just how appealing ethical fashion can be, and original content that spotlights established and emerging brandsand the makers behind them.

Katie Pruett

Founder & Editor-In-Chief

Katie is most excited about her role as Editor-In-Chief, and ensuring the stories, the visuals, and the message we share represent the vision of the ethical fashion industry as we bring each issue to life. With a background in news media and higher education, she has always loved the storytelling experience, but nothing compares to her newfound passion for writing about ethical and sustainable style.

She was deeply inspired by Michelle Obama’s and Oprah Winfrey’s conversation at the 2016 United State of Women Summit, particularly when they spoke about turning what you do “into a platform of service.”

Katie is a proud member of Ethical Writers & Creatives.
